]]> PES 17 Mod Apk Obb is finally back on Android! The popular Konami mobile gaming franchise, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, popularly known as PES 2017 Mobile, is back for Android devices. The game was totally online and was remotely impossible to play due to its online nature. But finally, modders have gained access to the game in its offline version. Being the very first edition in the modern PES mobile series, this game holds a truly unique place in the hearts of PES fans.

Although the newer rebranded versions of eFootball/PES are readily available, the original 2017 classic has that nostalgia and that tactical depth that modern games often lack. Many old PES players continue to prefer PES 2017 because of its ultra-smooth gameplay, very straightforward team management, and UI.

You can download the PES 2017 Mod Apk Obb freely for your Android devices by following the exact step-by-step process given below. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Android modding community, the full standalone APK and OBB data packages have been fully restored, patched, and optimized for Android devices.

The new PES 2017 Mod Mobile Offline aims to bring that experience back with additional features while keeping the original PES identity.

How to Download PES 17 Apk Obb for Android?

Before starting your installation, ensure your smartphone has at least 2.5 GB of free internal storage space to accommodate both the compressed archives and extracted runtime cache. Follow these exact steps to install the game seamlessly:

1. Download both the PES 2017 APK and PES 2017 OBB Data files from our verified links above.
2. Open your file management tool (such as ZArchiver) and navigate to your Download directory.
3. Tap on the downloaded APK file and click Install. Do NOT open or launch the game immediately after installation finishes.
4. Locate the downloaded OBB ‘.zip or ‘.7z’ file and extract its contents. You will get a folder named ‘jp.konami.pesam’ (or ‘com.konami.pes2017’).
5. Copy or move this entire folder to the following path:
‘Internal Storage > Android > OBB’
6. Ensure the final file structure reads: ‘Internal Storage/Android/OBB/jp.konami.pesam/main.101000001.jp.konami.pesam.obb’
7. Launch PES 2017 from your app drawer, grant the necessary storage permissions, and enjoy playing!

How to Download English Commentary in PES 17?

To experience matches with authentic broadcast-quality English commentary, you need to separately download the English audio package, extract the system file, and place the .cpk file in the precise directory designated for internal storage access. Follow these instructions step-by-step:

How to Install English Commentary
1. Download the PES 2017 English Commentary package using the dedicated commentary download link.
2. Open ZArchiver, RAR, or your preferred file manager application to extract the downloaded file.
3. Once extracted, locate the official commentary data file named: ‘dt510_mobile_eng_all.cpk’
4. Copy or move the ‘.cpk file directly to your main root storage path: ‘Internal Storage > Download’
5. That’s it! Launch the game, navigate to Audio Settings, and enable English commentary.

⚠ Important Rules for File Placement:
Do NOT place the commentary file inside the ‘Android/obb’ directory.
Do NOT create a sub-folder inside the Download directory (e.g., ‘Download/Commentary/’).
The ‘.cpk’ file must reside directly in the root of the ‘Download’ folder for the game’s internal system loader to parse it automatically.

✅ Correct Directory Path:
‘Internal Storage/Download/dt510_mobile_eng_all.cpk’

❌ Incorrect Directory Paths:
‘Internal Storage/Download/PES17_Commentary_Pack/dt510_mobile_eng_all.cpk’
‘Internal Storage/Android/obb/com.konami.pesam/dt510_mobile_eng_all.cpk’

Once correctly configured, enjoy commentary from Peter Drury and Jim Beglin on every match pass and goal!

The famous Campaign Mode is available. You can either play the game controlling them or just watch the gameplay from the bench as a manager. This creates a different football experience where team strength, tactics, and squad decisions become more important. Follow your team’s progression and also control the game tactically.

Make full use of Practice Mode, which allows you to practice your passing control, shooting technique, player movement, and touch control.
