The 2005/06 Season was very special for FC Barcelona when the club won La Liga under Frank Rijkaard. Ronaldinho’s skill and charisma were pivotal for the club’s success during the season. The Club signed Eto’o (the club’s top-scorer with 25 goals) and Decu, in addition to existing talents such as Xavi and Carles Puyol.

Originally, the main Logo of the club was designed in 1910 by Carles Comamala, a former player with artistic talent. The upper-left quadrant features the St. George’s Cross, and the upper-right contains the red and yellow stripes of the Catalan flag.
The club’s initials are featured in the central band. The club underwent a minor overhaul in 2002, and this was the result of that.
